Lori Landew joined the firm’s Philadelphia office in December 2008 as a Member in the Business Law Department. Prior to joining the firm, Lori was President of Landew Entertainment Business Associates LLC (LEBA), a consulting enterprise servicing a broad spectrum of entertainment and media clients. Before forming LEBA, Lori served as General Counsel, Corporate Secretary, and Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for Ryko Corporation, a division of the Warner Music Group. Lori was also Vice President, Business Affairs, for Zomba Recording Corporation, then the largest independent music company in the world with multiple record labels including, notably, Jive Records, home to the Backstreet Boys, N Sync, Britney Spears, R. Kelly, Joe and many other prominent artists.
Lori focuses her practice on media and entertainment law matters and has extensive experience providing business, legal and administrative counsel and support to private, public, domestic and multinational corporations. Lori specializes in providing counsel in the areas of new business development, strategic growth, revenue diversification and generation, new media initiatives and applications, multi-platform content creation, acquisition and distribution, consumer and retail marketing, brand management and expansion, and website development and design.

Lori earned her law degree from Columbia University School of Law, where she was executive editor of the Columbia-VLA Journal of Law and the Arts, and her undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania. Lori is a member of the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Chapter of NARAS (the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences) where she also chairs the Advocacy Committee, and she sits on the Board of Directors and is Secretary of LiveConnections.org, the not-for-profit organization that connects all kinds of people through all kinds of music.
