David L. Ladov joined the firm's West Conshohocken office in July 2003 and is Co-Chair of the Family Law Practice Group, where he concentrates his practice in all areas of domestic relations, including divorce, custody, child support, equitable distribution, and abuse. Prior to joining Cozen O’Connor, David was a founding member and managing partner with the law offices of Ladov, Bernbaum & Grossman in Plymouth Meeting, PA.
David received his bachelor of science, with distinction, in 1975 from the Pennsylvania State University and earned his law degree from Emory University School of Law in 1978.
David is Vice President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Pennsylvania Chapter, former chair of the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), former chair of the Family Law Section of the Montgomery Bar Association, and a member of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is an editor of the
Pennsylvania Family Lawyer, a publication of the PBA and a member of the Joint State Government Commission on Domestic Relations Law. Additionally, David is a Course Planner for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and is on their Family Law Advisory Committee. He is a frequent lecturer and participant for various Pennsylvania Bar Institute programs.
David was named a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" by his peers, appearing in
Philadelphia magazine and
Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, and is a 2010 Top 100 Super Lawyer. He has also been selected as Ten Leaders of Greater Philadelphia in Matrimonial and Divorce Law for 2005-2006 and 2008-2009 by Digital Press International.
David is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Georgia, and before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
