Cozen O’Connor member Paul K. Leary Jr. has been selected for membership in the International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC). Founded in 1920, the IADC is an international organization made up of the world’s leading corporate and insurance attorneys that seeks to foster cooperation and encourage professional development and legal reform within the legal profession.
A member of the commercial litigation group, Leary concentrates his practice in casualty defense, construction litigation, product liability and premises liability matters. Most recently, his focus has been on multinational product liability exposure and trucking litigation. He serves as a National Coordinating Counsel for one of the largest privately run trucking companies, a leading supplier of retailer brand carbonated soft drinks, an international hotel chain.
Admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Leary is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western District of Pennsylvania, the Southern District of New York and the U.S. District of New Jersey. He has handled catastrophic product liability and transportation claims all over the United States. In 2007, Leary was named a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer – Rising Star” by Law & Politics.
Leary is a graduate of Fairfield University (B.A., 1992) and Pace University School of Law (J.D., 1998). He recently earned a trial certificate following his participation in the International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy at Stanford Law School.
