Cozen attorneys from the New York, Philadelphia and Washington, DC offices gathered in New York on August 4th to conduct the kick-off training session on a variety of finance related issues to a delegation of 23 executives from China's largest state-owned asset management company. Topics included the US Securitization Markets, Legal Issues Related to Chinese Foreign Direct Investment in the US and Accessing US Capital Markets. The day ended with the delegation ringing the closing bell at the NASDAQ exchange. The training session continued with additional courses on private and public equity and securitizations as well as debt-restructuring and financial analysis in Philadelphia on August 5th and ended on August 12th. Great Wall owns a portfolio of troubled assets transferred to it by China's state-owned banks.
