Cozen O’Connor Adds New York Trusts and Estates Attorney Jeffrey B. Kolodny

Cozen O’Connor announced today the arrival of trusts and estates attorney Jeffrey B. Kolodny to the firm’s Private Client Services group in its New York City office. Kolodny joins as a member from the New York office of Phillips Nizer.

Kolodny’s practice includes complex international and domestic tax and estate planning and administration with a focus on high net worth individuals and multinational families. He also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in accounting proceedings, will contests, and other Surrogate’s Court proceedings.

In his international practice, Kolodny represents foreign individuals and families acquiring or owning U.S. property, fiduciaries with assets in multiple jurisdictions, and U.S. nationals with assets abroad.

Kolodny is a member in the New York Chapter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP); full members of STEP are the most experienced and senior practitioners in the field of trusts and estates. He earned both a J.D. and an LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Albany.
