Stephen A. Cozen Named the 2011 Pillar of Achievement Recipient

Stephen A. Cozen, chairman and co-founder of Cozen O’Connor, was honored on Monday, May 23rd by the Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame with the 2011 Pillar of Achievement Award. The Philadelphia Jewish Sports Hall of Fame describes its mission as to “provide the community with tangible and lasting evidence of the past, present and future of Jewish sportsmen and sportswomen in our area.” The Pillar of Achievement Award recipient is someone who has stood out for their success and “giving back” to the community. Mr. Cozen spearheaded the development of the Samuel D. Cozen Memorial Police Athletic League Center and is actively involved with the organization, and he serves on numerous education and philanthropic boards, including The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The National Museum of American Jewish History, and the University of Pennsylvania’s Law School Board of Overseers.
