PHILADELPHIA, PA – January 31, 2013 – Top 100 U.S. law firm Cozen O'Connor announced today that Joseph Ziemianski has been appointed to the role of chair of the firm’s Global Insurance Group. Joe had served as co-chair of the 125-attorney group before taking on his new role.

Mr. Ziemianski, who also serves as managing partner of Cozen O’Connor’s Houston office, assumes his role at a time when the Global Insurance Group has diversified its leadership throughout the firm. He concentrates his practice in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation. Mr. Ziemianski earned his law degree, cum laude, from Tulane University in 1987, and his bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1982, where he graduated with highest honors. He was a Fulbright scholar at The University of Warsaw in Poland.
