Investigation into shootings at Bellingham Retirement Community

Thursday, September 20, 2018

Jennifer Brandt, co-chair of the firm's Family Law Group, was a guest Fox29 to discuss the Chester County man who killed his parents at a retirement home after learning his divorce was final. The gunman, identified as Bruce Rogal, 59, confronted his ex-wife in the driveway of her home. He fired six shots and all missed but struck nearby houses. He then went to his parent's senior living facility where she fatally shot them. Rogal had received notice that his divorce from his wife had become final on Wednesday. The family home was awarded to his ex-wife. Jennifer noted that though divorces are often contentious, this story is a rarity.
