2009 Dennis H. Replansky Memorial Award

Presented by the Business Law Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. The Award was created after the untimely death of Dennis Replansky in recognition of his contributions to legal, civic, religious and other charitable causes.

The Award Criteria are:
-Superior legal talent
-Unique contributions to and significant achievements within the business law community
-A reputation for mentoring young attorneys
-Significant participation in and contributions to civic and charitable causes, and
-Uniform recognition in the legal community of the candidate's honesty, integrity and professionalism.

The B'nai Abraham Heritage Award

Harmon Spolan and his wife are recipients of The B'nai Abraham Heritage Award. This award is being presented on behalf of the Historic Congregation B'nai Abraham synagogue, Philadelphia's oldest continuously occupied Jewish house of worship.

Philadelphia Magazine- "The Power Fifty 2009"

The November 2009 issue of Philadelphia Magazine listed Steve Cozen as one of "The Power Fifty 2009". Steve was selected because of his influences within the political arena. He is listed with other notables such as Governor Ed Rendell, Congressman Bob Brady, and Mayor Michael Nutter.

Cozen O'Connor Recognized on Honor Roll of Legal Professions Helping Women

Cozen O'Connor was recognized by The Commission on Women in the Profession as a legal organization that welcomes and advances women professionals. The Honor Roll honors those firms that have instituted programs or initiatives that have resulted in helping women lawyers continue and advance in their professional careers, such as formal mentoring, the Women's Initiative Program and back-up childcare. It is the Commissions’ hope that highlighting successful programs will inspire other legal organizations to implement similar programs to support career advancement programs to promote and retain women attorneys.
