Anne L. Cook is a member of the firm and serves as the office managing partner for the Dallas office where she concentrates her practice in insurance litigation. Anne joined the firm in 1995 and has 17 years of experience evaluating and pursuing subrogation recoveries for insurance carriers. Anne also represents homeowners who have suffered losses due to construction defects in their home and businesses due to property damages not covered by insurance. Her emphasis is on construction defect claims and energy losses but she has represented clients in regard to contractual, tort, product liability, and cargo claims.
Anne volunteers with the North Texas Legal Aid Society, an organization that provides legal assistance to individuals who cannot otherwise afford these services. Anne is the former head of the pro bono committee for the Dallas office.
Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts in three years from the University of Texas at Austin in 1991, and her law degree at the Southern Methodist University School of Law in 1995, where she served as articles editor on the SMU Law Review.
Anne also finds time for running and travel while raising her two teenage daughters.
