Nick is a trial attorney in the firm's Litigation Department and represents clients in a variety of maritime, aviation, construction defect, and insurance coverage and bad faith cases throughout the United States. Appearing for both defendants and plaintiffs in state and federal courts throughout Washington, California, Arizona, and other jurisdictions, Nick has significant experience in all stages of litigation through trial. Nick's most recent trial resulted in a defense verdict for his client before the U.S. District Court, Western District of Washington.
Nick's pro bono practice focuses on immigration law, including representing individuals facing removal proceedings. Nick also is an active speaker in the Seattle legal community and has presented to various groups on maritime, insurance bad faith, ethics, and other topics and issues.
Nick graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law where he was the executive editor of the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice. Nick graduated, cum laude, from New York University with a Bachelor of Music in music business, and was previously a trumpet performance major at Manhattan School of Music.
Nick still enjoys performing music and is currently a trumpet player with the Bainbridge Island Symphony Orchestra.
