Eric Freed, vice chair of the Global Insurance Department, will be co-presenting on a panel titled "Preparing and Testifying at Depositions-For Adjusters" at the 16th Annual Windstorm Insurance Conference as part of the Florida Adjuster Law and Ethics Course.
This program will cover all aspects of preparing for and testifying at depositions, and attendees can expect to walk away with a comprehensive understanding of: the purposes, uses, and opportunities afforded by a deposition; the role of the attorneys and the witness; the proper way to prepare for such a proceeding; the universal do's and don’ts; lawyers’ tricks, traps, and set-ups; and how to handle videotaped depositions, bad faith depositions, and 30(b)(6) depositions.
