Herbert B. Fixler, Jeffrey B. Kolodny and Rachel D. Mansdorf, members of Cozen O’Connor’s Private Client Services Practice Group, will be hosting a panel discussion titled, “Current Estate Hot Topics – What Your Clients Need to Know for 2016 and Beyond.” The discussion will focus on the president-elect’s estate tax proposals and the impact of the Congressional election results – who it affects and how. The panel will also discuss what clients should do to take advantage of the low interest rate environment, New York State buzzwords like cliff taxes and gift taxes, the proposed regulations under Internal Revenue Code Section 2704, and what to keep in mind when planning for the sandwich generation – those clients who are caring for both children and aging parents.
