Steven P. Katkov, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Real Estate practice group, will be speaking at a program titled “Real Estate Section: The Fundamentals of 1031 Exchanges and Some Surprising Revelations” at the Ramsey Bar Association. Steve will discuss the fundamental rules of 1031 exchanges, the concept of “like kind” and the mechanics of a reverse exchange. In addition, he will address recent legislative and case law considerations.
