Craig Bennion and Alissa Christopher, of the Global Insurance Department, will present at the 2017 Claims Educational Conference on Bad Faith Liability: Prevention and Control.
Craig and Alissa's presentation will discuss insurance bad faith, including liability for bad faith arising from nearly all tasks that are part of a claim representative’s job, from initial loss investigation to settlement and payment of a claim. The session will review recent judicial decisions pertaining to insurance bad faith and conclude with pointers on how to develop “good faith” habits in claims handling to reduce the risk of bad faith claims.
The Claims Education Conference presented by American Educational Institute (AEI), the Society of Claim Law Associates (SCLA), and International Insurance Institute (III), provides claims relevant education and opportunities to network with other claims professionals who share similar concerns and challenges.
