Karl Riley will be moderating three panels at the American Bar Association's Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy.
Karl will moderate the panel, “How to Make an Impact with Corporate and Philanthropic Boards,” where panelists will provide insight on how to best make yourself a "board-ready" candidate. He will also moderate the panel, “Being a Great Ally, Representing Diverse Communities on a National Stage.” This panel will discuss how to be a good ally to other affinity bar associations, including how to be a resource and support for a fellow affinity bar association that may be dealing with a crisis. Lastly, Karl will moderate the panel, “Leveraging and Collaborating Between Affinity Bars.”
The Collaborative Bar Leadership Academy (CBLA) is a joint initiative of the American Bar Association, its Commissions on Racial and Ethnic Diversity in the Profession and Disability Rights, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, the National Bar Association, the National LGBT Bar Association, the National Native American Bar Association, and the South Asian Bar Association of North America.
