NEW YORK, March 11, 2013 – John McDonough, vice chair of Cozen O’Connor’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group, will be honored by the Defense Association of New York (DANY) at its Annual Awards Dinner and Meeting on April 11 in New York City. McDonough will receive The James S. Conway Award for outstanding service to the defense community.
McDonough focuses his practice, both nationally and internationally, on general litigation and complex insurance defense matters including directors' and officers' liability, errors and omissions litigation, complex products liability matters, and mass tort litigation. He was appellate counsel in the landmark anti-subrogation case in New York, North Star v. Continental Insurance Co. McDonough also frequently lecturers for many organizations, including DANY. Also being honored at DANY’s Annual Awards Dinner are the Honorable Randall T. Eng, presiding justice – Appellate Division, Second Department, and the Honorable George Silver, of the Supreme Court, New York County.
