Mark Gallant, a member of the firm and chair of the Health Law practice group, was quoted in Of Counsel: The Legal Practice and Management Report, in an article titled, “Affordable Care Act, Changing Demographic, Consolidation All Fueling Health Care Law.” The article discusses the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Supreme Court ruling to uphold the law, and how this has resulted in increasing workloads for health care attorneys. “We’ve seen a significant uptick in activity,” he says in the article. “Health care has always been heavily regulated and anything that steps up regulation creates more work. Health care law is a very good field in which to practice right now.”
