Dick Devine, of counsel in Criminal Defense and Internal Investigations, shares his perspective in Crain's Chicago Business on the vetting process for a new Chicago Police Superintendent. Dick says "The days ahead present a number of challenges. The most important is finding a new boss for the police."

Devine served as the Chicago Cook County State's Attorney from 1996 to 2008, running the second largest prosecutor's office (900 attorneys) in the country.
