Three Republicans entered the Indiana primary and only two left. As the votes were counted, Jim Schultz appeared on NBC10 news to discuss the Trump and Cruz campaigns. Jim said that, "Ted outspent Trump six to one and the only thing he has to show for it is being down double digits in the polls." Indiana, a conservative Christian state, should have been an easy win for Cruz, but Trump maintained a commanding lead in the polls. Jim noted that voters can expect Chris Christie to build support for Trump in New Jersey as its primary approaches.
