Blake Rutherford, a member of Cozen O’Connor’s Public Strategies, was quoted in an article titled “OUTLOOK: Trump’s Infrastructure Plan Challenges Transportation Status Quo” which appeared in The Bond Buyer. In the piece, Blake noted the slow process that the President-elect will face following his proposal. “Passage of an infrastructure bill within the first 100 days is ambitious, particularly considering the president-elect’s suggested price tag of $1 trillion,” Blake said. The article also discussed the possibility of boosting infrastructure spending by raising federal gasoline tax. “That has eluded past presidents and I am not sure that we will see any meaningful progress in this new Congress,” Blake indicated.
