Robert Freeman, a Government Relations Principal in the firm’s Public Strategies Group, spoke to Law360 about the role passengers’ rights issues may play in Congress’s upcoming FAA reauthorization discussions. “How the airlines address harassment for crews and passengers is likely to be an issue,” Freeman says. “Especially the passenger protections, there are always concerns on how fares are reported, what’s going on with lost luggage. Bumping is still an issue; airlines have taken steps to address it, but Congress hasn’t.”
