Richard Emge discusses his new role as the managing partner of Cozen O’Connor’s Wilmington, Delaware, office in Law360. Richard talks about his transition to new leadership in the firm's Wilmington office, his vision for the office moving forward, and the impact of the pandemic on how business is done.
Richard discusses how his role as vice office managing partner helped prepare him for this new position. “In 2021, the firm made me the vice office managing partner in the Wilmington office, which afforded me the opportunity to work directly with Mark Felger and our office manager over a short period of time in order to learn how to handle some of the budgeting and personnel responsibilities that come with the managing partner position,” Richard stated.
Among his new responsibilities, Richard plans to “continue to recruit local Delaware attorneys who are leaders in their respective fields who are looking to move their practices to a national platform.”
