PHILADELPHIA, May 8, 2023 — Fred Warren Jacoby, a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department, has been reappointed as a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee and the Collaborative Law Committee for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

The PBA ADR Committee addresses current issues of mediation, arbitration, and other alternative dispute resolution processes, including mediation and arbitration of private and court-connected ADR programs. As a member of this committee, Fred will conduct professional education programs and recommend standards of practice for ADR professionals.

The PBA Collaborative Law Committee addresses current issues regarding the collaborative law dispute resolution process. Members of the committee educate attorneys and the public about this process and monitor, propose, and/or support legislation or rules of court that further the development of the collaborative law dispute resolution process.

Fred is a commercial litigator with an emphasis on construction law. He has notably diverse experience and is a sought-after advocate and adviser who serves companies in the construction, real estate, and financial services industries. Fred represents clients in their most significant commercial litigation and regularly provides strategic counsel on operations and contracts to help clients avoid potential disputes. He is also a vice chairman of the firm and a member of the Advisory Committee that counsels the firm’s board of directors and management committee.
