Kristie M Abel, of counsel in Cozen O’Connor’s Global Insurance Department, will receive the 2023 Distinguished Advocate for Children Award on behalf of the Support Center for Child Advocates. Kristie is a recipient of this award for her exceptional work and dedicated volunteer time to the organization. The award will be presented to Kristie at the Change the Story: An Evening For Child Advocacy Annual Benefit Reception in Philadelphia on April 19, 2023. The evening allows the Support Center to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of friends and colleagues who devote countless hours to their mission.

The Support Center for Child Advocates is a nonprofit organization representing Philadelphia children in need. They advocate for child abuse and neglect victims to secure safety, justice, well-being, and a permanent, nurturing environment for every child. For more than four decades, the Support Center for Child Advocates has served children who have experienced abuse or neglect by securing social services, finding alternative homes, and helping them testify in court.
