This podcast will provide an overview of the major provisions within the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board’s (the MSRB”) proposed Rule G-42. Proposed Rule G-42 relates to standards of conduct and duties of municipal advisors when engaging in certain municipal advisory activities (excluding certain municipal solicitation activities which will be addressed in a later rule). Also highlighted are certain provisions that the MSRB is seeking comments upon. The MSRB has set forth a March 10, 2014 deadline for the receipt of comments on proposed Rule G-42.
