Supreme Court Expands ‘Actual Fraud’ Discharge Exception

David Doyle authored an article published by The American Bankruptcy Institute, that provides issuers with an overview of what to expect if a debtor has received a fraudulent transfer. The article also makes mention of a recent ruling by the Supreme Court,  stating that the discharge exception for “actual fraud” is now broad enough to include the liability imposed, if any, on the recipient of fraudulent transfer.
