Marijuana in the Workplace [Gaming Law Review]

Christopher Kelly co-authored an article discussing the methods by which states have chosen to legalize marijuana and the federal government's approaches to legalization, as well as what protections employees who use have both from disability discrimination and to be accommodated under state and federal law, and what sorts of testing are legally and practically possible. Legalization of both medical and recreational marijuana is a trend spreading across the country. The marijuana industry is fast growing, with a significant effect on individuals and businesses alike. The gaming industry is no exception. State regulators have stepped in to address licenses' interactions with the medical marijuana industry, in some cases prohibiting all cross-over activities.
