Matthew Coin

Associate

Matthew focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He has experience in a wide variety of areas including contract disputes, partnership and other closely-held business disputes, product liability, premises liability, insurance, securities, and other complex torts and business disputes. Matthew has experience representing clients in a number of industries and prides himself on his ability to learn a client’s business and understand the business implications of the cases he handles. He has represented restaurants, trucking companies, contractors and others in the construction industry, banks and other financial services companies, healthcare companies, and manufacturers and distributors of products.   

From 2020 to 2021, Matthew served as a co-chair of the firm’s Associates Committee. From 2017 to 2018, he was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Renée Marie Bumb of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Matthew participated in the firm’s summer associate program in 2015.

Matthew earned his undergraduate degree from Millersville University. He earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law. While in law school, he served as an articles editor for the Villanova Law Review and was awarded the Law Review Dedication Award for distinguished service to the Villanova Law Review. Upon graduation from law school, Matthew was elected to the Order of the Coif.
