Mary advances client policy agendas before key agencies and decision makers in New York City. She joined Cozen O'Connor Public Strategies from the New York City Department of Consumer Affairs, where she served as the agency’s assistant commissioner of legislative affairs. 

Prior to her time with the Department of Consumer Affairs, Mary served as district director for former New York State Senator Daniel Squadron — handling community and constituent concerns across Lower Manhattan, Chinatown, and the Lower East Side — and managed Senator Squadron’s 2008 campaign. Mary also previously served as chief of staff to former New York Assemblyman Brian Kavanagh and as a community liaison for former Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer. 

Mary holds a B.A. in history from New York University.
