Gerard Donahue


Gerard concentrates his practice on the areas of complex tort litigation, product liability litigation, toxic torts and environmental claims, and construction accidents and construction defect claims. He has experience drafting and arguing motions, leading and defending depositions, representing clients in mediation and settlement conferences, and trying cases to verdict.

Prior to joining the firm, Gerard was an associate with a New York-based firm focused on medical liability, product liability, and health care law. Before entering private practice, Gerard served as an assistant district attorney in the Bronx County District Attorney's Office. As a prosecutor, he handled the investigation and prosecution of crimes from arrest to disposition via plea or trial, including narcotics possession and distribution, human trafficking, white collar crime, and attempted murder.

Gerard earned his legal degree from New England Law School, where he was an associate editor of the New England Journal of International and Comparative Law. Before law school, Gerard worked with refugee populations in Phoenix, Arizona, and Nairobi, Kenya. He earned his undergraduate degree from Fordham University.
