Julie Dostal discusses the ballot initiatives in Oregon and D.C. to legalize and decriminalize psilocybin.

Julie focuses her practice on trademark and copyright prosecution; internet domain and social media infringement; and intellectual property transactional matters.

While in law school, Julie was a summer associate at the firm in 2018. Prior to joining the firm, Julie interned as a legal fellow at Accountability Counsel, where she focused on the use of oversight mechanisms for international development loans. Julie has also interned at the offices of City Councilman Corey O'Connor and United States Senator Robert Casey in Pittsburgh.

Julie earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was on the articles review board for the Virginia Environmental Law Journal and the features editor of the Virginia Law Weekly. Prior to law school, Julie earned her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, where she majored in politics and philosophy and minored in history and religious studies.
