Trevor focuses his practice on commercial litigation and is experienced in pre-litigation in insurance claim handling, insurance coverage litigation, and bad faith litigation. He has represented clients in a wide array of first-party and third-party claims, including professional liability, general liability, and construction defect. Trevor also has substantial experience in multi-party litigation in both state and federal courts. He has handled actions involving claims for breach of contract, indemnity, and bad faith arising out of construction defect litigation. In addition to his insurance coverage practice, Trevor regularly represents clients in regard to real estate and construction matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Trevor was an associate attorney in Utah and Montana where he would draft and evaluate legal documents, consisting of memos, motions, contracts, settlement agreements and legal opinion letters. He would perform complex legal research, involving both state and federal law, statutes, and regulations.
Trevor earned his law degree, cum laude, from University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. While in law school, he was a legal intern at the Guardian Ad Litem Office in Salt Lake City, Utah. Trevor was also a law clerk for Stringham Schools (pre-licensing real estate school) and then at Vial Fortheringham LLP where he assisted lead attorneys with real estate home owners association, and construction defect case development and strategic client management. Trevor earned his bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, in psychology and his Master of Public Administration from Southern Utah University.
