Robert Foor-Pessin


Toby is an associate in the firm’s Subrogation & Recovery Department.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Toby served as an assistant state attorney in the Office of the State Attorney, 17th Judicial Circuit. He represented the state of Florida and the citizens of Broward County in prosecuting felony offenses. Before that, he was a litigation associate in Florida for four years representing institutional lenders in creditors’ rights litigation, title litigation and appeals. He has drafted 17 appellate briefs, three of which resulted in written opinions, and has appeared for oral arguments in the Second, Third and Fifth Florida District Courts of Appeal.

Toby earned his bachelor’s degree, with honors, from Rochester Institute of Technology and his law degree, from Syracuse University College of Law.
