Laura provides trademark and unfair competition counsel, including developing trademark strategies, conducting availability searches, and providing infringement opinions. She also provides trademark prosecution and renewal in the USPTO and internationally, as well as TTAB proceedings. She assists clients with enforcement actions including DMCA and UDRP, copyright registration and enforcement, as well as litigation support such as discovery, motion practice, document review, and depositions. Laura also has experience with cybersecurity and data security.
Prior to joining the firm, Laura was a law clerk and associate attorney at an intellectual property law firm based in Philadelphia and New Jersey.
Laura earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Laura earned her law degree from Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Law. While in law school, Laura was awarded three CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in Copyrights, Trademarks, and Law of Artistic Persons and Properties Seminar. She was also the editor-in-chief of Penn State Journal of International Affairs.
