Rebecca represents clients from the pre-litigation phase to litigation in both state and federal court spanning multiple industries, particularly in the areas of commercial litigation, large loss subrogation, insurance defense, and insurance coverage. She is experienced in multiple stages and aspects of litigation, including extensive motion practice, depositions, oral argument, settlement negotiation, and coverage research.
Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca was an associate attorney at two Texas law firms, where she represented a Fortune 500 company in a multi-million-dollar subrogation action, including drafting filings, assisting at hearings in Massachusetts federal court and South Carolina state court and at mediation. In another matter, Rebecca represented a Fortune 500 company in multi-district litigation arising out of an explosion and chemical release during Hurricane Harvey. She also defended a Fortune 500 company in defense of personal injury suit involving traumatic brain injury of a minor.
Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, from St. Mary’s University and her law degree from University of Houston Law Center. While in law school, Rebecca was the articles editor of the Houston Business and Tax Law Journal.
