Jaynee Mathis

Associate

Jaynee concentrates her civil litigation defense practice on matters involving premises liability, personal injury, and product liability claims. She has experience drafting and arguing dispositive motions in state, federal, and tribal court; taking and defending depositions; drafting written discovery; writing law and motion pleadings; preparing for and attending mediation; responding to policy limit demands; and engaging in settlement negotiations.

Prior to joining the firm, Jaynee was an associate with a leading California law firm. There, she handled cases from pre-litigation to settlement or trial preparation in a variety of civil litigation defense matters.

Jaynee earned her B.A., cum laude, from California State University, Long Beach, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Southwestern Law School. During law school, she served as an executive board member of the Southwestern Law Review, competed in several Moot Courts, and successfully litigated a case in the school's Ninth Circuit Appellate Clinic.
