Kelly Ann maintains a general litigation practice with a focus on commercial litigation, as well as civil fraud and regulatory law. Her diverse experience includes assisting clients with class actions, appellate work, professional negligence claims, contract disputes, insurance litigation, and injunctive relief including mareva injunctions and anton piller orders.
Kelly Ann has appeared in all levels of court in both British Columbia and Alberta, as well as before various administrative tribunals. She has assisted as junior counsel, as well as independently conducted trials and represented clients in alternative dispute resolution processes.
Prior to joining the firm, Kelly Ann practiced at a leading litigation boutique and at a BC-based national law firm in Vancouver. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and public administration from the University of Victoria and her law degree from Thompson Rivers University. While in law school, she was elected president and external vice-president of Thompson Rivers University Society of Law Students. Kelly Ann received the dean’s course prize in insurance law and for her oral advocacy skills on the Wilson Moot team.
