Kaitesi assists clients with strategies to develop relationships with elected officials, community leaders, and trade associations. She has a broad range of experience identifying and analyzing local, state, and federal legislation and legislative and regulatory proposals addressing racing, gaming tech, and socioeconomic matters. She has also interfaced with industry stakeholders, legislators, program staff, and regulators on policy matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Kaitesi was the government affairs & social impact associate at The Madison Square Garden Company, where she assisted in the implementation and operation of the MSG Relief Fund, a $2.6 million fund to support MSG employees impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. She also served on the company’s 15-member Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Council to promote equity within the workforce and supply chain.
Kaitesi was also a legislative analyst for New York State Assembly, where she designed the enabling legislative framework that implemented Daily Fantasy Sports in New York that generated multi-million dollars in state revenue. She also co-founded the Caucus Young Professionals, which has raised more than $15,000 to implement the first ever Annual Young Professional Networking Receptions for the NYS Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators’ Caucus weekend, which was attended by over 1,000 state and city legislators, political staffers, and advocates.
Kaitesi earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Buffalo and her master’s degree in Public Administration from SUNY Albany Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy.
