Simon focuses his practice at the intersection of law and technology. He successfully leverages his prior engineering, computer programming, and IT experience to find creative solutions to legal problems for his clients. Simon has successfully counseled clients and senior firm leadership on electronic discovery issues and best practices surrounding complex litigations and government investigations.
Simon has deep and broad experience in litigation management and has an exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams of attorneys, IT personnel, and outside technical consultants to achieve favorable outcomes for clients. He has advised clients on document retention, preservation, and related issues and clients’ legal obligations concerning electronic discovery and best practices. His clients consist primarily of pharmaceutical manufacturers and high technology firms.
Prior to joining the firm, Simon gained 10 years’ of experience as a senior litigation associate at two prominent Philadelphia law firms.
Simon earned his undergraduate degree in aerospace engineering, with high distinction, from the Pennsylvania State University, and he worked as a systems engineer at Lockheed Martin prior to attending law school. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Simon is also a registered patent attorney.
