Stephanie concentrates her practices in the areas of insurance coverage and professional liability. She litigates coverage cases in state and federal court on behalf of insurers, involving a wide variety of coverages, including directors and officers liability, errors and omissions liability, employment practices liability, environmental liability, and commercial general liability. Stephanie regularly advises clients on coverage analysis and policy interpretation, claims handling and resolution, case valuation, and settlement. She has drafted hundreds of coverage position letters and opinions and first-chaired dozens of mediations throughout the country, and successfully negotiated global resolutions in complex cases involving many parties and insurance coverage issues. Stephanie drafts insurance policies and endorsements, as well as provides guidance to insurance underwriters on addressing specialized risks. Stephanie also has extensive experience representing defendants in professional liability litigation, including defense of insurance brokers, third-party administrators, lawyers, and securities broker-dealers.

Prior to joining the firm, Stephanie was a partner at a national law firm. She previously served as associate deputy counsel for and corporate counsel for Educational Design, Inc.

Stephanie earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin. Stephanie earned her law degree, cum laude, from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she graduated in the top 10 percent of her class and was a member of the Cardozo Law Review.
