Each brings to the firm a strong background conducting sensitive, often highly charged investigations involving child abuse, sexual and gender-based harassment, interpersonal violence, elder abuse, discrimination and harassment, and other forms of serious misconduct.

Helen focuses her practice on the investigation of sexual and gender-based harassment and violence, and other forms of harassment, discrimination, and misconduct in institutions, pursuant to Title IX, the Clery Act, and other federal and state regulations.

Prior to joining the firm, Helen was a prosecutor in the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, where she primarily handled child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault cases. She has extensive jury and bench trial experience and earned the respect of her peers through her commitment to justice for families broken by trauma. Helen also served as assistant supervisor of the Juvenile Court Unit, where she was responsible for the supervision of cases and the training and development of prosecutors in the unit. She oversaw charging decisions and worked closely with various law enforcement agencies, stakeholders, and advocacy groups within both the criminal and juvenile justice system. She provided training to the Philadelphia Police Department on the investigation and prosecution of domestic violence crimes and trained and mentored numerous young attorneys. Helen also briefly served on the Hate Crimes Task Force targeting crimes of ethnic intimidation throughout the city.

Fluent in three languages, Helen earned her undergraduate degree from Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea, and her law degree from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law.
