Amanda concentrates her practice on labor and employment.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda was an associate with a Texas-based law firm specializing in insurance litigation. There, she gained valuable experience in professional liability litigation and helped develop defense litigation plans and strategies. She participated in all aspects of discovery, including preparing for depositions, conducting research, and drafting motions, discovery requests and responses, demand letters, protective orders, and legal memoranda.
Amanda received her J.D. from Tulane University Law School and her B.B.A. in International Business, summa cum laude, from Howard University. While in law school, Amanda interned for the Honorable Vanessa D. Gilmore of the Southern District of Texas, and participated in Tulane's Environmental Law Clinic and Humboldt University and Tulane University's joint International Alternative Dispute Resolution Program in Berlin, Germany.
