Caitlin focuses her practice on construction litigation, government contracts, bid protests, and contract claims and appeals, as well as providing project and business counseling advice to a wide array of clients. Her clients range from general contractors, owners, and subcontractors to architects, design professionals, suppliers and sureties.
She has experience litigating in a variety of forums, including state and federal courts, domestic arbitrations and various boards of contract appeals. She has also successfully prosecuted multiple bid protests before various agencies and the Government Accountability Office. Whether offering advice before or during a project, or during the litigation and/or alternative dispute resolution processes, Caitlin provides practical advice for clients to understand, evaluate and make the best business decisions possible.
Prior to joining the firm, Caitlin was an attorney at a law firm based in Washington, D.C., where she also practiced construction litigation, governments contracts law, and complex commercial litigation. Previously, she was a senior associate in the St. Louis office of a Missouri-based firm where she practiced in a variety of additional areas of law, including professional liability, director and officer liability, class action defense, and labor and employment law.
Caitlin earned her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University and her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law. While in law school, she worked as a law clerk at the Illinois State’s Attorney’s Office in St. Clair County and as part of the Community Economic Development Program for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri.
