Macee is focuses her practice on litigation, including class actions. Since joining the firm as a first-year associate in 2019, Macee has assisted with a wide variety of matters, including high-profile securities, construction, and aviation litigation. She has significant experience drafting various types of motions and supporting briefs, handling discovery, and conducting legal research.
In addition, Macee maintains an active pro bono practice. She has partnered with several organizations in connection with her pro bono engagements, including the Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs and the King County Bar Association Debtor Clinic.
While in law school, Macee was a summer associate at the firm in 2017 and 2018. Macee was also a legal extern in the labor and employment division of Seattle City Attorney's Office, where she gained experience in defending employment-related claims — including various discrimination and civil-rights allegations — against the city.
Macee earned her bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, from Gonzaga University and she earned her law degree from University of Washington School of Law. Macee is an intermediate writer, speaker, and reader in German.
