Ruthie is an associate at the firm’s Chicago office, where she was a summer associate in 2018.
Ruthie earned her law degree from Stanford Law School. While at Stanford she was awarded two Gerald Gunther Prizes for Outstanding Performance, in Legal Research and Writing and International Conflict Resolution. Her paper on accountability in international development finance was awarded the Goldsmith Writing Prize. She also co-led Stanford’s Immigration Pro Bono Project.
Before law school, Ruthie served in the Peace Corps in Costa Rica where she pioneered public school participation in Model United Nations and helped organize the country’s largest public conference. She graduated from Dartmouth College, majoring in government and minoring in Spanish and German.
