Cozen O’Connor Attorney Steven K. Gerber Elected President Of Radnor School Board

Steven K. Gerber, a member in Cozen O’Connor’s Philadelphia office, has been elected President of the Radnor Township (Pa.) Board of School Directors. The board, which consists of nine elected members who serve four-year terms, develops and oversees the governance policies for the Radnor School District, which has been consistently rated as one of the top public school districts in the country.

Gerber practices in the firm’s subrogation and recovery department. He devotes his practice to the prosecution of complex large property loss subrogation matters, including actions arising from fires, building collapses, water damage and product failures. Steve has achieved subrogation recoveries on behalf of clients in scores of actions in numerous jurisdictions.

Gerber is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia bar associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the National Fire Protection Association. He has been rated “AV” by Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. Gerber also serves on the advisory board of the Homeless Advocacy Project (HAP), a legal aid project of the Philadelphia Bar Association, where he formerly served on the board of directors.

Gerber is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. He regularly serves as an arbitrator in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.

A resident of Villanova, Gerber earned his undergraduate degree from Trinity College (B.A., 1987) and his law degree from the College of William and Mary (J.D., 1992), where he was active in Moot Court and was a member of the Moot Court Board.
