PHILADELPHIA, January 22, 2013 – In a recent survey conducted by The American Lawyer, Cozen O’Connor ranked in the top five AmLaw 100 firms for women in leadership positions. The survey, conducted for 2012, sought to determine how many female partners had, “advanced to the highest ranks of law firm hierarchies.” Surveying only the AmLaw 100, firms were asked to note how many women held leaderships positions in the firm, including firm-wide managing partners or chairs, members of the firm’s chief governing body or compensation committee, or were heads of an office or practice group. Of the top 100 law firms in the country, 93 responded; Cozen O’Connor ranked fifth overall for its percentages of women holding leadership positions.
