"It's a much more jury-friendly issue, I would say, because if they have evidence to show that these issues are related to things like weight gain and puberty, then the jury can understand that," Jim said. "It's something the jury can grasp rather than trying to decide through expert testimony what the company stated in its warnings, what the doctor knew about the risks and what the doctor said to the family."
