Hugh Marbury Named to the Johns Hopkins Eudowood Foundation Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, D.C., April 15, 2024Hugh Marbury, co-chair of the firm’s Copyright Practice, has been named to the board of directors of the Eudowood Foundation at Johns Hopkins. The Eudowood Foundation is a Maryland-based nonprofit organization that operates exclusively for humanitarian, scientific, and charitable purposes by contributing to Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Hospital, focusing on pediatrics. The foundation also funds and supports the Baurenschmidt Fellowship, a competitive grant open to physicians to pursue research projects in their chosen fields.

Hugh focuses his law practice on intellectual property and business litigation. His intellectual property litigation practice includes patent, copyright, and trade secret litigation in diverse technological areas across many industries. His business litigation practice focuses on Complex Commercial and M&A litigation, primarily in Delaware courts. With nearly three decades of experience handling complex issues in courtrooms and boardrooms across the country, Hugh provides his insights in support of several large nonprofits, including the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, the American Law Institute, the Living Classrooms Foundation for the National Capital Region and, now, The Eudowood Foundation.
